I am facing problem at 1 client place here at few assets they have posted wrong asset class instead of 1 asset class (posted into another asset class)

my doubt is what we have to do we have to settle or we have to transfer..

which one is advisable..

ABIU or  ABUMN.

which one is advisable..

Check whether the transaction which are already posted were correct or not.

I)    If  the  journal entry and amount posted are correct.
Then you transfer the asset one class to another class.

At the time of transfer of asset their are two options
available:

1. Existing asset
2. New asset

You can transfer the balances directly to existing asset
which is already created)
OR
You can create new asset master and transfer.

II)   If  the  journal entry and amount posted are incorrect.
Then settle the asset and create new asset for the same and
make the necessary posting.

or go for ABUMN and value date should be the key as it is the date on which the asset will be transferred from one class to the other.
